Responsibilities
- Maintain prep-kitchen and operational line cleanliness and safety standards.
- Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards.
- Assist in meal preparation and ensure all food items are prepared in a timely manner.
- Assist the chef in the creation of new menu items.
- Utilize knife skills for cutting, chopping, and preparing ingredients efficiently.
- Follow food safety protocols and ensure compliance with health regulations.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations during service hours.
- Assist with catering events as needed, ensuring high-quality food presentation and service.
Preferred, but trainable skill sets:
- Previous experience in a kitchen or restaurant setting.
- Attention to detail and excellent active memory.
- ServeSafe Certification
- Strong cooking skills with the ability to follow recipes accurately.
- Knowledge of food handling practices and food safety regulations.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within a team.

Pay: $17.00 - $22.00 per hour
