The Role: This position provides primary psychiatric care to students at Central Washington University. This clinic is accredited through the Accreditation Association for Ambulatory Health Care, Inc., within a multi-disciplinary team format. Provides psychiatric care to patients that includes performing mental health diagnostic evaluations, and planning/implementing treatment including medication management and counseling. Provides psychiatric consultation and support to the primary care clinicians of the multi-disciplinary team. These duties are provided within the scope of care under their state license as an Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner. This position takes direct responsibility for all health care provided, with the medical director available for physician consultation and backup.
