UNITED SWEEPING IS HIRING A DIESEL & HYDRAULIC FLEET MECHANIC
PAY : $25-$32/HR
Job Overview:

Diagnose, repair, and maintain hydraulic systems and diesel-powered equipment, including but not limited to
trucks, loaders, and sweepers. -
Perform regular inspections and preventative maintenance on machinery to ensure safe and efficient operation.

Troubleshoot and repair complex issues with diesel engines, hydraulic systems, and other mechanical components.

Use diagnostic tools and equipment to assess system performance and determine necessary repairs.

Replace or repair parts as needed, including pumps, motors, cylinders, valves, and hoses.

Perform oil changes, brake inspections, and other routine maintenance tasks on diesel engines.

Ensure all repairs meet industry standards and safety regulations.

Maintain accurate records of repairs, parts, and maintenance schedules.

Communicate effectively with the team, reporting progress and potential issues.

Follow all safety protocols and work in a clean, organized manner.
Requirements:
- CDL is a preferred

Experience: Minimum [3] years of experience as a diesel mechanic or hydraulic technician (preferred).

Certifications: ASE certification or equivalent in diesel mechanics (preferred).

Proficiency in hydraulic systems, diesel engines, and heavy equipment maintenance.

Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills.

Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.

Experience using diagnostic tools and computer-based software.

Physical ability to work with heavy equipment and tools, lift up to 50 pounds, and stand for extended periods.

Strong attention to detail and a commitment to high-quality workmanship.

Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
