The Landscape Operations Manager is responsible for scheduling and running 4-6 lawn maintenance crews, and 2 enhancement/construction crews. The manager is responsible for the overall site quality, enhancement sales. This position is responsible for necessary follow-up and follow-through to maintain positive customer relations and ensure complete customer satisfaction. Suggest and sell additional managementservices/enhancements to meet both the needs of the property and to increase customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities:
- Utilizing the LMN Software to schedule and coordinate the daily and weekly project schedules of the lawn maintenance for efficient use of crews and company resources.
- Develop strong relationships with customer base through clear and frequent communication, mutual trust and ability to meet the customer needs. Develop win-win opportunities for the customer and the company.
- Proactively manage properties/projects by inspecting and identifying problems, such as turf disease or old and dying plant material. Communicate appropriately any problem areas and work to find immediate resolution.
- Write and negotiate contract enhancements and renewals.
- Responsible for site visits of all maintenance properties to ensure quality expectations and specifications are being met/exceed.
- Coordination and field purchasing of materials, and tools with manager approval.
- During Snow Season be the snow commander and organize and run the snow service for the company.
- Report directly to the Account manager and keep them situationally aware of all maintenance and snow operations
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Business, Horticulture, Landscape
Maintenance or related field and/or a minimum of three years
landscape maintenance experience as a manager.
Familiarity with LMN Software, a plus, or the ability to learn to use it.
Strong interpersonal skills, ability to communicate and manage well at all levels of the organization and with staff at remote locations.
Valid Drivers License, required
- Bilingual in English and Spanish is preferred, but not required.
