Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and compassionate Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) to join our dedicated healthcare team. Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough patient assessments, including physical examinations, vital signs, and medical history reviews to determine health status and needs.
- Manage a broad spectrum of clinical conditions utilizing advanced skills in medical documentation, diagnosis coding (ICD-10, CPT), and treatment planning.
- Administer medications and injections such as immunizations, IV infusions, botulinum toxin treatments, dermal fillers, and other esthetic laser treatments with precision and safety.
- Perform procedures including suturing, catheterization, venipuncture, phlebotomy, spinal taps, and sterile processing techniques in accordance with best practices.
- Collaborate with specialists in areas such as gastroenterology, infectious disease care, behavioral health, hospice & palliative medicine, geriatrics, and acute pain management to coordinate patient care plans.
- Utilize electronic health record (EHR) systems like Epic or eClinicalWorks for accurate medical documentation and patient data management.
- Participate in clinical research initiatives and quality improvement projects to enhance service delivery standards.
- Provide triage services via telehealth or in-person consultations to assess urgency levels and prioritize patient needs effectively.
- Support discharge planning, case management, utilization review, and working with individuals with disabilities or developmental challenges to ensure comprehensive care continuity.
Qualifications
- Valid Family Nurse Practitioner license with current certification from an accredited program.
- Demonstrated experience working in diverse settings such as hospitals (Level I & II trauma centers), nursing homes, assisted living facilities, outpatient clinics or urgent care centers.
- Proficiency with EMR/EHR systems including Epic, Cerner or Athenahealth; experience with medical imaging or laboratory processing is a plus.
- Strong knowledge of physiology, anatomy, pharmacology (including psychopharmacology), and diagnostic evaluation techniques.
- Skilled in performing advanced procedures like dermal fillers, skin lesion removal.
- Experience with CPT coding for billing purposes; familiarity with ICD-9/10 coding standards is preferred.
- Excellent patient assessment skills across age groups—pediatrics through geriatrics—including working with children and individuals with developmental disabilities or memory care needs.
- Ability to handle acute care situations such as abdominal pain,MI, shortness of breath.
- Knowledge of infection control protocols and sterile techniques; experience in infection surveillance or infection control programs is advantageous.
- Strong communication skills coupled with a commitment to patient-centered care; ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary teams supporting hospice & palliative medicine or occupational health initiatives.

Pay: $90,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
