Location: Hinton, VA 22831
We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Shipping Dock Worker to join our team on the second shift at our Hinton, VA facility. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assisting with the loading, unloading, and organization of shipments to ensure efficient and accurate delivery of products.
- Load and unload trucks and shipping containers safely and efficiently.
- Inspect incoming and outgoing shipments for accuracy and damage.
- Organize and stage products for shipment according to company procedures.
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment as needed.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment on the dock.
- Assist with inventory counts and documentation as required.
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to ensure smooth operations.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous experience in shipping, receiving, or warehouse work is a plus.
- Ability to operate warehouse equipment safely (forklift certification a plus).
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) and perform physical tasks throughout the shift.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work the second shift schedule.
- Good communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment .Must be able to read and write English .
This position is for the second shift, typically starting in the afternoon and ending late evening. Specific hours will be provided during the interview process.
