Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Travel X-Ray Technologist to join a leading acute care teaching hospital in Portland, OR. This assignment is ideal for technologists who enjoy a consistent weekend schedule while working alongside an experienced multidisciplinary team.
The ideal candidate is confident performing diagnostic radiography in a fast-paced hospital environment and committed to providing exceptional patient care.
Responsibilities
- Perform high-quality diagnostic radiographic examinations
- Position patients accurately for optimal imaging
- Maintain radiation safety standards and department protocols
- Collaborate with physicians, radiologists, and healthcare staff
- Document procedures accurately using EPIC
- Maintain imaging equipment and ensure quality assurance standards
- Participate in scheduled on-call rotation
Required Qualifications
- ARRT (R) Certification
- BLS Certification
- Experience in acute care radiography
- Ability to work weekend night shifts
Preferred Qualifications
- Fluoroscopy Permit
- Previous teaching hospital experience
- EPIC experience
Assignment Details
- Friday–Sunday | 5:00 PM–5:30 AM
- No floating required
- On-call approximately 3 shifts per month
- 48-hour schedule available
