Overview
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Cabinet Installer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in carpentry, blueprint reading, and working with various hand and power tools. This role involves installing cabinets and related fixtures on residential and commercial projects, ensuring precision and quality in every job. Candidates with a background in residential finish carpentry or remodeling experience are highly valued. The position offers an opportunity to work on projects in air conditioned spaces that require craftsmanship, technical knowledge, and a commitment to safety and excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Install cabinets according to plans and company standards
- Verify materials prior to installation
- Maintain a clean and professional job site
- Ensure proper alignment, leveling, and secure fastening of cabinetry
- Perform demolition or removal of old cabinetry as needed
- Assist with other carpentry tasks such as door hanging, fixture installation, or minor remodeling projects as required
- Heavy lifting of cabinets and materials safely to prevent injury
- Communicate issues promptly through proper channels
- Complete work efficiently to support profitability
- Data entry of field inputs to project management software
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years of cabinet installation experience
- Ability to read measurements and plans
- Ability to work independently without constant supervision
- Willingness to follow defined processes and reporting structure
- Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Valid driver’s license and vehicle to carry tools and materials to job sites
Physical Requirements
- Lift up to 75 lbs
- Frequent standing, bending, kneeling, and overhead work
- Regular use of power tools
This position requires a dedicated professional, committed to quality craftsmanship and safety standards. Candidates should be comfortable working in diverse environments and possess the necessary skills to contribute effectively to our team’s success.
Pay: $24.50 - $32.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40.0 per week
