OneSparQ is looking for Electrical Project Engineer for a growing Engineering firm in New Orleans, Louisiana.
Responsibilities:
- Work on a diverse range of projects including aviation, commercial, healthcare, and educational facilities.
- Oversee electrical interns and staff across multiple locations nationwide.
- Review and manage the work of engineering teams, ensuring quality, accuracy, and adherence to project schedules.
- Serve as a client-facing representative, leading meetings and maintaining strong relationships with both clients and internal teams.
- Take ownership of project delivery timelines and overall performance.
Required Skills:
- 7+ years of relevant electrical engineering experience
- Direct experience in electrical design and construction for Aviation, education, or commercial projects
- Proven project management experience, including direct client interaction and mentoring junior engineers
- Experience managing projects through the full lifecycle, from concept to completion
- Active Professional Engineer (PE) license
Additional Skills:
- Existing network of clients in the local/regional market, with a proven ability to bring in and develop new project opportunities
- Proficient with Revit, AutoCAD, SKM, Microsoft Office Suite, Procore, or similar software systems
