Experienced Medical Assistant – Gynecology & Reproductive Endocrinology

Our busy Gynecology and Reproductive Endocrinology practice is seeking an experienced, compassionate, and highly motivated Medical Assistant to join our team. We are looking for an individual with a strong work ethic who is dependable, detail-oriented, and thrives in a fast-paced environment while providing exceptional patient care. Must be able to draw blood.
Locations
- Munster, IN (Main work location)
- Valparaiso, IN
Travel between both office locations is required once per week.
Position Responsibilities
As a key member of our clinical team, you will perform a variety of clinical and administrative duties, including:
- Prepare patients for physician examinations and procedures
- Assist Dr. Madanes during gynecologic and reproductive endocrinology examinations and office procedures
- Perform phlebotomy and specimen collection
- Prepare and organize patient charts prior to physician clinic sessions
- Answer incoming phone calls and address patient questions professionally
- Schedule new and follow-up patient appointments
- Coordinate patient testing, procedures, and follow-up care
- Contact patients regarding appointments, laboratory results, and physician recommendations
- Maintain exam rooms, ensuring they are clean, stocked, and ready for patient care
- Order and maintain clinical and office supplies
- Accurately document patient information in the electronic medical record
- Assist with the daily operations of a busy specialty medical practice
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years of Medical Assistant experience required
- Experience in Gynecology, Reproductive Endocrinology, Fertility, OB/GYN, or Women's Health preferred
- Phlebotomy experience required
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
- Compassionate, professional, and patient-centered
- Reliable with an exceptional work ethic
- Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team environment
- Spanish-speaking preferred but not required
Schedule
- Full-time position
- Must be available to work late Wednesday evening physician clinic sessions
- Must be willing to travel between our Munster and Valparaiso office locations-at least 1 time per week.

Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
Education:
- High school or equivalent (Preferred)
Experience:
- Medical receptionist: 3 years (Required)
- Customer service: 3 years (Required)
License/Certification:
- Certified Medical Assistant (Preferred)
- Phlebotomy (Required)
