JOB SUMMARY
We are seeking dependable and detail-orientated Janitors to support daily operations at a remote camp on the North Slope of Alaska. The role is responsible for maintaining clean and sanitary common areas, offices, living quarters, kitchens, restrooms, and common areas; performing full floor‑care tasks; removing and compacting trash; completing light maintenance such as changing bulbs; and keeping entryways clear of snow and debris. The ideal candidate is safety-focused, and comfortable working long hours in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
- Work Location: Remote Camp, North Slope, Alaska
- Rotational Schedule: 3 weeks on/3 weeks off
- Work shifts: 12 hours/day (40 hrs straight time + 44 hrs OT per work week).
- Travel: Flights between Anchorage and the job site are arranged and paid for by the company

JOB DUTIES
- Clean hallways, stairways, offices, food preparation and break areas, kitchen areas and equipment, laundry rooms, living areas, work areas, off-site areas, common areas, restrooms, public areas, and other similar areas
- Dust both low and high areas and wipe down/clean various surfaces
- Sweep, mop, scrubs, strip, extract, wax, buff, vacuum, etc. all types of floors
- Removes and transports and compacts trash to the appropriate disposal areas
- Change light bulbs and perform light facility maintenance
- Keep building entryways free of snow and debris
- Operate a vehicle to work at remote locations
- Follow proper DUS safety precautions and wear the correct PPE for the task
- Ability to work in a constant state of alertness in a safe manner
- Willingness to perform other duties as required
- Willingness to work at various locations as required
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous janitorial experience
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
- Able to proficiently speak, read, understand and write English
- Reliable access to a smartphone capable of running apps for scheduling,
timekeeping (clocking in/out), shift communications, and time-off requests
- Must pass a pre-employment drug screen and physical requirements
- Must meet criminal history and background requirements
WORK ENVIRONMENT AND EXPECTATIONS
- Work is performed indoors in a remote camp setting
- Ability to remain on your feet for long shifts and perform repetitive physical tasks, including walking, bending, kneeling, and lifting.
- Must be comfortable living and working in a remote location with shared housing accommodations and communal facilities
- Teamwork, reliability, and a positive attitude are essential
- Strict adherence to safety, work procedures, and conduct standards
