Hayford Builders is a commercial, architectural millwork shop serving Baltimore and the surrounding areas. Established in 1985 as a small woodworking shop it has grown into a business with a 35,000 square foot facility and $7+ million in annual sales. Our equipment includes multiple CNCs, beam saw, edge-banders, 6-head moulder and dedicated finishing booth.
Duties and Responsibilities:
We are looking for a motivated production assistant to join our custom cabinetry and millwork team. This is a hands-on, entry-level role with real opportunity to grow-no experience or tools necessary. You will:
- Assist our custom cabinet makers with day-to-day production tasks
- Unload and organize incoming materials and deliveries
- Maintain organization of the shop
- Take on other tasks as needed - every day looks a little different
- Learn the process of building cabinets and creating custom pieces from experienced and talented craftsmen
Job Qualifications:
Current driver's license
Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively and work as a team member
Ability to work 40+ hours per week and overtime as needed
Normal working hours are Monday through Friday 7:00 to 3:30; flexible hours and overtime available.
