We are seeking an organized, detail-oriented Quality Records Coordinator to manage quality documentation and ensure customer records are complete, accurate, and compliant with Nadcap, AS9100, and customer requirements.
Position Summary
The Quality Records Coordinator is responsible for reviewing, organizing, and maintaining quality records throughout the manufacturing process. This role ensures that all documentation accompanying customer orders is complete, accurate, and meets internal procedures as well as customer and regulatory requirements before shipment.
The ideal candidate has excellent organizational skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work closely with production, quality, and customer service teams in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities
- Review incoming customer documentation, purchase orders, and engineering specifications.
- Create and maintain job travelers and quality documentation throughout the production process.
- Verify that all required inspections, process certifications, and quality records are complete before shipment.
- Compile Certificates of Conformance (C of C), process certifications, inspection reports, and customer-required documentation.
- Ensure all records comply with Nadcap, AS9100, customer specifications, and internal quality procedures.
- Maintain electronic and hard-copy quality records in accordance with record retention requirements.
- Coordinate documentation between production, inspection, and shipping departments.
- Review completed job packets for accuracy and completeness prior to customer shipment.
- Assist with customer audits, Nadcap audits, and internal quality audits by preparing requested documentation.
- Track documentation discrepancies and work with appropriate departments to resolve issues promptly.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives related to quality documentation and record management.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Previous experience in manufacturing documentation, quality assurance, or document control preferred.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and customer specifications is preferred.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and general computer applications.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to prioritize multiple projects while meeting deadlines.
Pay: $20.00 - $21.00 per hour
