We are seeking a dependable Line Cook/Dishwasher to help maintain a clean, sanitary, and organized kitchen while supporting food preparation during service.
This position is ideal for someone who takes pride in cleanliness, works efficiently, and understands the importance of supporting the kitchen team.
Restaurant experience is required. Experience in preparing Jamaican cuisine is required.
Schedule Details: Most shifts end around 11:00 PM; however, closing duties may extend later depending on business volume and nightly cleaning needs.
Days: Fridays and Saturdays to start, additional shifts will be added based on restaurant needs.

Primary Responsibilities
Dishwashing
- Washing dishes, glassware, flatware, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment
- Organizing and putting away clean dishes and equipment
- Polishing glassware, china, and utensils as needed
- Sweeping and mopping kitchen floors at the end of shift
- Sanitizing counters, prep stations, sinks, and kitchen surfaces
- Cleaning and organizing work areas throughout the shift
- Assisting with maintaining overall kitchen cleanliness and organization
Line Cook
- Cook and plate appetizers
- Season and prepare meats
- Trim, clean, and portion meats
- Prepare ingredients and appetizers
- Read and prepare dine-in and to-go ticket orders
General Responsibilities
- Taking garbage to the dumpster at the end of shift
- Following all sanitation and food safety standards
- Working efficiently in a fast-paced team environment
- Assisting the kitchen team as needed
Qualifications
- Reliable and punctual
- Able to perform physical work and stand for extended periods
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to cleanliness and detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Previous restaurant experience required
Physical Requirements
