The Senior Insurance Customer Service Representative is responsible for overseeing the administration of property and casualty insurance programs, including claims management, risk analysis, and policy servicing. This position leads core claims, proposal, and risk management processes while ensuring accuracy, compliance, and quality service. The role also serves as a subject matter resource by supporting training, guiding team members, and maintaining effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

Oversee and manage property and casualty insurance processes, including claims handling, documentation, and data entry

Lead risk management activities, including research and assembly of financial loss data and prior insurer information

Review insurance coverage, invoices, and loss runs for accuracy, completeness, and compliance

Prepare, review, complete, and issue insurance proposals for prospective and current clients

Conduct detailed claims reviews and support evaluation of coverage and risk exposure

Support system maintenance and accurate use of agency systems and processes
-
Provide training and ongoing education on systems, account handling procedures, and customer service standards

Guide team members on application setup, policy management, billing processes, and documentation requirements

Support preparation of insurance binders, certificates, follow-up processes, and standard agency documentation

Respond to customer inquiries related to claims, coverage, and policy services in a timely and professional manner

Serve as a resource for resolving complex issues and ensuring consistent service delivery

Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned

Strong understanding of property and casualty insurance concepts, underwriting practices, and risk management principles

Ability to analyze risk, interpret loss data, and develop comprehensive insurance proposals

Knowledge of insurance systems, account management processes, and regulatory requirements

Strong leadership and training skills with the ability to guide and develop team members

Ability to communicate clearly and professionally with clients, carriers, and internal teams

Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines

High attention to detail and accuracy in documentation and data management

Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and related systems

Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills

Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information appropriately

High school diploma or equivalent required

Associate degree preferred
-
Minimum three to five years of experience in the insurance field required

Property and Casualty license required

Health and Disability license preferred

Demonstrated experience in claims processing, proposal development, and risk management activities

Experience training or supporting team members preferred

Intermediate accounting knowledge and understanding of financial data required

Regular on-site attendance required with the possibility of hybrid work based on business needs
