The Multicultural Clinical Center is seeking a highly skilled Cross-Cultural Outpatient Clinician to join our team. A clinician who is passionate about providing mental health support to individuals from diverse cultural backgrounds—with experience and knowledge in working with cross-cultural populations—would be the best fit for our team.
- Conduct comprehensive in-person assessments and develop individualized treatment plans for clients from various cultural and socio-economic backgrounds.
- Provide evidence-based therapy in person to individuals, children, teens, couples, and families, considering cultural nuances and sensitivities.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure holistic care for clients.
- Implement culturally appropriate interventions and techniques to promote positive mental health outcomes.
- Ensure all required documents are completed and uploaded to the EHR on time according to MCC and Virginia regulations.
- Master's degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field.
- Licensure or eligibility for licensure as a mental health clinician in the state.
- Minimum of 2 years of outpatient experience with cross-cultural populations.
- Demonstrated knowledge of cultural competence and ability to apply it effectively in clinical practice.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build rapport with clients from diverse backgrounds.
