Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Line Cook to join our kitchen team. The ideal candidate will have experience in the food industry, particularly in full service settings, and will be responsible for preparing and cooking meals that meet our restaurant's standards. The Cook will play a vital role in ensuring that all food is prepared with attention to detail, adhering to food safety regulations and cleanliness standards.
Duties
- Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to established recipes and standards.
- Ensure all food is prepared in a timely manner while maintaining high quality.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, including proper food handling and storage practices.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service during peak hours.
- Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and supplies, reporting any shortages or needs to management.
- Adhere to all food safety regulations and guidelines to ensure the health and safety of guests.
- Utilize proper knife skills for food preparation, ensuring precision and efficiency.\
- Cover dish washing shifts as needed.

Requirements
- Proven experience as a Cook in a restaurant or casual dining environment for breakfast, lunch, and dinner menus.
- Familiarity with food safety practices and regulations.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
- Passion for cooking and creativity in menu planning is highly desirable.
- Must be comfortable using knives and various kitchen equipment.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour
