Romar Management is seeking a full time Maintenance Technician for Senior Apartments in Northern Kentucky (Newport/Covington).
Responsibilities:
- Daily inspection of grounds, parking lots, and common areas.
- Prioritizes completing work orders and other required tasks in a timely manner as they are reported from Staff or residents.
- Perform preventative maintenance on a regularly scheduled basis.
- Completes turnover process of vacant units by scheduling vendors and making necessary repairs to make-ready for new resident.
- Thrive in a continuously changing, fast paced learning and working environment.
- Take pride in the standards and services delivered to residents.
- Communicate any health and/or safety concerns immediately to management.
- Receives and respond to emergency maintenance requests during scheduled after-hour on-call shifts to ensure a high-quality resident experience for residents.
Requirements:
- 2+ years of maintenance experience.
- Familiarity with maintenance tools and equipment.
- Ability to handle physical workload.
- Deadline and detail oriented.
- Working knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, drywall, etc.
- Basic computer/phone skills for receiving and completing work orders.
- Available after hours in case of emergency.
- Have a valid driver’s license.
- Must pass background check, drug, and physical screening.
