Welder/Fabricator/Assembler
We are seeking an experienced Welder/Fabricator/Assembler to join our team. This is a hands-on role for a skilled professional who can weld steel frameworks, fabricate and assemble components according to print specifications, and help maintain an efficient workflow within the department. The right candidate will be committed to quality, productivity, and teamwork, and will take pride in delivering finished work that meets high standards.
Position Summary
The Welder/Fabricator/Assembler is responsible for welding steel framework, fabricating parts, and assembling finished products based on prints and job specifications. This role also plays an important part in supporting workflow throughout the department and working with others to ensure jobs are completed accurately, efficiently, and on time.
This is not an entry-level position. We are looking for a professional welder/fabricator with real experience, strong technical ability, and the judgment needed to produce quality work in a fast-paced, professional environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Weld steel frameworks and related components with accuracy and consistency
- Fabricate and assemble parts according to print specifications
- Read and follow blueprints, prints, and job instructions
- Manage workflow within the department to help keep projects moving efficiently
- Coordinate with team members and other departments to ensure quality standards are met
- Inspect completed work to ensure accuracy, fit, finish, and overall quality
- Maintain productivity while meeting deadlines and production schedules
- Help create a safe, organized, and professional work environment
Qualifications
- Previous professional experience as a welder, fabricator, or assembler
- Ability to weld steel framework and assemble work according to print
- Ability to help manage workflow within the department
- Ability to work with others to ensure quality work is completed in a timely manner
- Professional welding and fabrication experience required
