Job Overview
We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Marketing Assistant to join our dynamic marketing team to target Caroline, Kent, Queen Anne's and Talbot counties for our home care company. In this role, you will support the development and execution of innovative marketing campaigns across multiple channels, including digital advertising, social media, and content creation as well as engaging the local community. This vital “boots-on-the-ground” role generates leads by connecting with healthcare facilities, families, and professionals to secure client referrals while strengthening the agency’s trusted reputation.. Duties
- Assist in the setup, management, and optimization of digital marketing campaigns across platforms such as Google Ads, Facebook Advertising, and SEM (Search Engine Marketing).
- Conduct keyword research and utilize SEO tools to improve website visibility and organic search rankings.
- Create compelling content for blogs, social media posts, email marketing campaigns, and landing pages that align with brand voice and marketing goals.
- Monitor web analytics reporting using tools like Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager to analyze campaign performance and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Collaborate on social media marketing strategies, managing social media advertising campaigns on platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn.
- Contribute to email marketing efforts by creating engaging email content and managing automation workflows.
- Referral Development: Build and nurture strong, strategic relationships with hospitals, discharge planners, social workers, physicians, and assisted living facilities.
- Community Outreach: Attend health fairs, senior centers, and networking events to raise local brand awareness.
- Pipeline Management: Track leads, conduct site visits, and manage performance metrics using CRM and intake systems.
- Educational Marketing: Position the agency as a trusted resource by educating families and healthcare providers on senior care options and agency capabilities.
- Intake Collaboration: Partner with internal intake and nursing teams to ensure a seamless onboarding experience for new clients.
Skills
- Strong understanding of digital marketing channels including SEM, social media advertising campaigns, email marketing, and web analytics reporting.
- Excellent communication skills with a proactive approach to collaboration within cross-functional teams focused on digital marketing initiatives.
- MUST BE ABLE TO PASS A CRIMINAL BACKGROUND CHECK, SEX OFFENDER REGISTRY CHECK AND DRUG TEST FOR EMPLOYMENT
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or Healthcare Administration preferred (or equivalent relevant work experience). Will also consider a LPN or SW with relevant home care experience.
- Experience: 1-3 years of proven experience in healthcare sales, community outreach, or relationship-based selling (home care experience heavily preferred).
- Local Knowledge: Deep understanding of the local territory and existing contacts within the healthcare or eldercare community.
- Soft Skills: Exceptional public speaking, communication, and follow-through skills.
- Logistics: Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation for daily field travel.
