An energetic and enthusiastic Office Assistant is needed for a nonprofit (religious) organization. This is a great opportunity to join a fast-paced, dynamic environment. We are looking for a mature, energetic, and resourceful individual with excellent judgment, a positive attitude, and solid administrative experience.
The ideal candidate is an exceptional communicator with strong writing skills who enjoys managing multiple projects and administrative tasks. This position also involves assisting with marketing and communications, including email campaigns, website updates, and social media content.
Requirements:
- Experience working in a municipality is required.
- Excellent command of English, including grammar, punctuation, editing, and professional writing.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Windows, Microsoft Office, and Google Workspace (Gmail, Google Docs, Google Sheets).
- Experience managing social media accounts and creating engaging content.
- Experience with Mailchimp (or similar email marketing platforms) for creating and sending mass email campaigns.
- Experience with Canva for creating marketing and promotional materials.
- Experience updating websites using WordPress.
- Reliable, dependable, organized, and detail-oriented.
- Self-starter with at least 2 years of administrative office experience.
- Excellent customer service and interpersonal communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with Judaism or previous experience working in a Jewish organization is preferred.
