Duties
- Clear and reset tables efficiently, ensuring a clean and inviting dining space for guests
- Wash dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, and pans using proper food handling and cleaning procedures
- Assist with food preparation tasks as needed, including basic plating or garnishing under supervision
- Support banquet and catering events by bussing tables and maintaining cleanliness in event spaces
- Maintain cleanliness of kitchen stations, dishwashing areas, and dining rooms to meet health standards
- Collaborate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure timely service and smooth workflow
- Follow safety protocols for food handling, cleaning chemicals, and equipment operation
Skills
- Strong knowledge of bussing, cleaning, and food handling best practices
- Experience in food service environments such as restaurants, hotels, or catering is highly desirable
- Ability to perform light food preparation and support culinary tasks when needed
- Familiarity with banquet or large event setups is a plus
- Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude in fast-paced settings
- Basic understanding of kitchen safety and sanitation standards
- Prior hospitality or restaurant experience is preferred but not required; eagerness to learn is essential
