We are seeking an experienced IT Support Technician / Junior Systems Administrator to provide onsite IT coverage for one business week while our regular onsite IT resource is unavailable.
This is a hands-on position for someone who can independently troubleshoot and resolve common end-user, workstation, Microsoft 365, and basic network issues.
Important: Remote technical support is not provided during this assignment. The technician must be capable of independently diagnosing and troubleshooting onsite issues.
Our office team will be available for coordination, access clarification, escalation, and status updates, but will not provide step-by-step troubleshooting or live remote configuration assistance.
Candidates must be available for the entire Monday–Friday assignment from 9:00 AM–6:00 PM each day.
Responsibilities
- Provide onsite and desk-side technical support to employees.
- Troubleshoot Windows 10/11 desktops and laptops.
- Resolve user login, password, account, and access issues.
- Support Microsoft 365, Outlook/email, Teams, and standard business applications.
- Troubleshoot printers, monitors, docking stations, peripherals, and other office equipment.
- Diagnose basic LAN, Wi-Fi, DNS, DHCP, and network connectivity issues.
- Perform basic Active Directory and Microsoft Entra ID administration when access is provided.
- Set up, configure, replace, and deploy workstations as needed.
- Install approved software, updates, drivers, and peripheral devices.
- Troubleshoot network-connected devices and general office technology.
- Monitor and respond to incoming IT support requests.
- Document issues, troubleshooting steps, resolutions, and outstanding items.
- Escalate issues that require additional permissions, vendor support, or higher-level technical resources.
- Communicate professionally with employees and management throughout the assignment.
Qualifications
- Previous professional L1/L2 helpdesk, desktop support, or IT support experience.
- Strong working knowledge of Windows 10/11.
- Experience supporting Microsoft 365 environments.
- Familiarity with Active Directory and/or Microsoft Entra ID.
- Working knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, LAN, and Wi-Fi troubleshooting.
- Experience troubleshooting PCs, printers, peripherals, and common office technology.
- Ability to troubleshoot problems independently without step-by-step technical assistance.
- Strong communication and customer-service skills.
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple support requests.

- Reliable transportation and dependable attendance.
Schedule
Monday through Friday
9:00 AM–6:00 PM each day
This position requires availability for all five scheduled days. Please do not apply if you cannot commit to the entire assignment.

Pay: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour
