Job Summary

Duties
- Develop comprehensive curriculum plans tailored to individual student needs, incorporating techniques for vocal health, tone development, and performance skills
- Conduct engaging singing lessons that focus on proper breathing, pitch accuracy, diction, and stage presence
- Utilize learning management systems (LMS) and other educational technology tools to track progress and assign practice exercises
- Adapt teaching methods to accommodate students with special educational needs or disabilities, ensuring an inclusive learning environment
- Prepare students for performances, auditions, or assessments by guiding rehearsals and providing constructive feedback
- Manage classroom behavior effectively to create a focused and respectful atmosphere conducive to learning
- Collaborate with parents, guardians, or school staff to communicate student progress and set achievable goals
Requirements
- Proven experience in teaching singing or vocal coaching in classroom or private settings
- Strong knowledge of music theory, vocal techniques, and childhood development principles
- Familiarity with curriculum development and lesson planning tailored for diverse age groups
- Experience working with individuals with disabilities or special education needs is highly desirable
- Excellent communication skills to motivate students and engage families effectively
- Background in classroom management, behavior management, and literacy education is advantageous
- Prior experience in private schools or Montessori educational environments is a plus
- Ability to work with children across different developmental stages while maintaining a nurturing approach
