Job Title: Final Finish Carpenter

Salary Range: $20.00- $28.00 hourly

We are seeking a skilled individual to join our final finish team in Boise, Idaho. The successful candidate will possess prior experience in the commercial/residential construction field role. Ability to read and interpret blueprints, manufacturer installation instructions, to ensure product is built to standards under tight timelines. This individual will have a strong work ethic and be a valuable team member.
Responsibilities:
· Assist a team with ensuring the modular units are complete ensuring finish work is within quality standards.
· Assist with repairing and/or cleaning of any items that may be deficient this includes but not limited to cabinets, countertops, fixtures, outlets, bathrooms, closets etc.
· Spread sealing compound between boards, panels, or over cracks.
· Assist with moving units in the yard utilizing a tractor and physically handling staging crates (cribs)
· Insure work area is clean and organized at the start and end of each shift.
· Check all tools and materials for safety hazards prior to use.
· Insure work area is clean and organized at the start and end of each shift.
· Clean and prepare work area, rubble, debris, and other waste materials.
· Assist other craft and trade workers.
· Focus on established goals, schedules and budgets to maintain deadlines and milestones.
Requirements:
· High school diploma or equivalent required.
· 2 (Two) years of experience in a manufacturing, construction industry and/or physical demanding trade.
· 1-2 years of experience in construction related to final finishes desired
· Must be able to read a tape measure and be familiar with blueprints
· Strong attention to detail and quality craftsmanship
· Ability to work independently or as part of a team
· Follow and uphold all safety standards and adherence to PPE requirements.
Skills and Abilities:
· Ability to operate and control hand tools (tape measure, hammer, screwdrivers, utility knife, etc.) and pneumatic tools and equipment (nail guns, screw guns, sprayers etc.)
· Ability to stay focused with many interruptions
· Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
· Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
· Self-starter with the ability to work with limited supervision.
· Ability to organize and work in a fast-paced environment.
· Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with a high level of organization and a strong attention to detail are essential.
· Skilled at cross-functional collaboration and building rapport with peers.
· Ability to perform physically demanding tasks.
· Learning agility to master new tasks
· Ability to work on-site during regular business hours of 6am-2:30pm M-F and Saturdays as needed.
Physical Requirements:
· While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, sit; talk, hear, see, reach, stoop, and kneel.
· Performing physical activities that require considerable use of your arms and legs and your whole body, such as climbing, lifting, balancing, walking, and handling materials.
· Frequent lifting from 5-50 lbs. including rocking, walking wooded cribs
· Ability to drive a tractor, golf cart and forklift on occasion
· Access and mobility in tight spaces.
· Working at heights - over 5 feet.
· Moderately to loud noise level.
· Comfortable working at heights, in confined spaces.
