We're recruiting for an experienced Project Manager to join a leading industrial machinery manufacturer in Lancaster, PA.
This is an excellent opportunity to manage custom-engineered equipment projects from order through to delivery, working closely with Engineering, Manufacturing, Suppliers and Customers to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget and to specification.
What You'll Do
- Manage custom industrial equipment projects from order through delivery
- Lead project kick-off meetings and coordinate cross-functional teams
- Develop and maintain project schedules and execution plans
- Monitor project costs, budgets and financial performance
- Identify project risks and implement mitigation plans
- Communicate project progress with customers and internal stakeholders
- Support estimating activities, quotations and project planning
- Work with Engineering, Manufacturing, Purchasing and Quality to deliver successful projects
- Ensure projects meet quality, safety and customer requirements
What We're Looking For
- 5+ years' experience in Project Management, Project Engineering or Technical Project Management
- Background managing custom-engineered industrial equipment or capital equipment projects
- Strong understanding of manufacturing, scheduling and estimating
- Ability to read engineering drawings and technical specifications
- Knowledge of ASME, AWS welding codes, GD&T and NDE processes
- Experience using MS Project or similar project management software
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or related discipline preferred
