Hard Rock Materials, Inc. based in NE Florida, is searching for an experienced CDL truck driver for our Jacksonville location. This position involves driving a concrete mixer to deliver concrete to our customers located in the Duval, Clay, Nassau and St. Johns counties. This will be a concrete mixer driver position only and you will be home each night.
**MUST HAVE AT LEAST ONE YEAR CDL DRIVING EXPERIENCE ***
Responsibilities
- Transport finished concrete goods and raw materials to and from manufacturing plants in NE Florida to job sites in a concrete mixer.
- Inspect vehicles for mechanical items and safety issues and perform preventative maintenance
- Comply with truck driving rules and regulations as well as with company policies and procedures
- Move trucks into loading or unloading positions
- Collect and verify delivery instructions
- Report defects, accidents or violations
Skills
- Proven work experience as a truck driver with at least one year CDL driving.
- Adaptability and foresight to handle unexpected situations (traffic, weather conditions etc)
- Valid CDL license
