Responsibilities
- Safely operate tractor-trailers, including refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, tankers, and specialized trucks for hazardous materials.
- Navigate routes efficiently using GPS navigation systems to meet delivery schedules.
- Load and unload freight with proper manual handling techniques, ensuring cargo safety and security.
- Transport freight over the road (OTR) routes, adhering strictly to FMCSA (Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration) regulations and DOT (Department of Transportation) standards.
- Manage logistics cargo handling, including securing loads and verifying shipment accuracy.
- Comply with hazardous materials regulations when transporting dangerous goods or hazardous substances.
- Maintain vehicle cleanliness and perform routine inspections to ensure compliance with safety standards.
- Document delivery activities accurately, including load & unload records, delivery logs, and incident reports.
Requirements
- Proven experience in delivery driving or truck driving, preferably with freight or logistics cargo handling.
- Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with endorsements for tractor-trailer operation; experience with manual transmission preferred.
- Knowledge of FMCSA regulations, hazardous materials regulations, and DOT compliance standards.
- Skilled in route driving using GPS navigation systems for efficient deliveries across diverse locations.
- Experience with refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, tankers, or automobile transportation is a plus.
- Ability to load & unload cargo safely using manual handling techniques; familiarity with truck loading and unloading procedures.
- Strong understanding of truck driving safety protocols and hazard management for dangerous goods or hazardous materials.

Pay: $26.42 - $31.81 per hour
