Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Paving Superintendent to lead and oversee large and small scale paving projects. This role involves managing all aspects of paving operations, ensuring projects are completed safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and extensive construction site experience As a pivotal member of our team, you will coordinate crews and ensure compliance with federal and local construction regulations to deliver exceptional results on every project.
Duties
- Lead and supervise paving crews, managing team performance to meet project goals efficiently and safely
- Manage project budgets, track costs, and perform construction estimating to stay within financial targets
- Ensure compliance with OSHA standards and federal construction safety regulations across all job sites
- Conduct quality control inspections, monitor construction safety management practices, and enforce strict adherence to construction regulations
- Oversee construction site safety protocols by conducting regular safety audits and ensuring crew adherence to OSHA standards
Skills
- Extensive experience in heavy civil or commercial construction projects with a focus on paving operations
- Proven supervisory experience managing teams in a fast-paced construction environment
- Excellent communication skills for managerial coordination with clients, subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams
- Ability to interpret contracts, manage budgets, perform construction estimating accurately, and oversee quality control measures
Pay: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour
