Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Logistics Coordinator to join our team and drive the seamless flow of goods and materials across our supply chain. Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end supply chain activities, including procurement, sourcing, and freight coordination, ensuring optimal inventory levels and order fulfillment.
- Oversee warehouse operations such as shipping & receiving, picking & packing, materials handling, and warehouse management system (WMS) utilization to maximize efficiency.
- Coordinate transportation management systems (TMS) for transportation planning, fleet management, dispatching, and freight negotiations to reduce costs and improve delivery times.
- Monitor inventory control through regular cycle counts, category management, demand planning, and data analysis skills to prevent stock discrepancies.
- Collaborate with third-party logistics providers (3PL), NVOCC (Non-Vessel Operating Common Carrier), and other logistics companies to streamline international trade compliance and shipping logistics.
- Implement process improvements using supply chain analytics and CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) tools to enhance operational efficiency.
- Ensure adherence to international trade regulations, packaging standards, and materials handling safety protocols while supporting e-commerce fulfillment initiatives.
Requirements
- Proven experience in logistics management with a strong understanding of supply chain processes including procurement, warehouse distribution, transportation planning, and freight management.
- Technical proficiency with ERP systems such as AS400 or equivalent enterprise resource planning software; experience with warehouse management systems (WMS) is essential.
- Knowledge of transportation management systems (TMS), shipping & receiving procedures, order picking & packing, dispatching, and inventory control techniques.
- Familiarity with international trade regulations, NVOCC operations, freight forwarding, and shipping logistics is highly desirable.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret supply chain data for process improvement opportunities
- Excellent organizational skills with a focus on detail-oriented execution of tasks related to materials management and category sourcing.
- Effective communication skills for coordinating with suppliers, carriers, warehouse teams, and internal stakeholders across multiple functions.
- Bilingual (English/Korean) preferred (This position offers an additional wage increase for employees who are approved to perform bilingual duties in English and Korean.)
