1.0 FTE Visual Arts Teacher Leader provides leadership across the district to support elementary and secondary visual arts staff in the areas of curriculum, art integration, instruction, assessment, classroom management, communication, and instructional technology. The teacher leader will:
- Collaborate and co-plan with teachers using art-based research and inquiry curriculum and best teaching practices.
- Co plan with the Curriculum Specialist and art teachers to support job embedded professional development in the areas of planning, teacher resources, webpage development, assessment, classroom management and organization, and instruction in arts based and whole child development.
- Assist in developing and organizing community arts related learning connections for students.
- Applicants must have strong instructional skills, willingness to team, and an ability to work collaboratively with teacher and curriculum specialists.
This position is subject to a veterans preference.
