Project Manager
Position Summary
The Project Manager is responsible for overseeing residential and commercial reconstruction projects from contract signing through final completion. This position ensures projects are completed safely, on schedule, within budget, and to the highest quality standards while delivering an exceptional customer experience.
The Project Manager serves as the primary point of contact for homeowners, insurance adjusters, subcontractors, vendors, and internal staff throughout the life of each project.
Salary: $75,000 + commission on completed work
Key Responsibilities
Project Management
- Manage multiple construction projects simultaneously from start to finish.
- Develop project schedules and ensure milestones are met.
- Coordinate labor, subcontractors, materials, and equipment.
- Monitor project budgets and control costs.
- Conduct regular job site inspections to ensure quality and safety.
- Identify issues early and implement solutions to keep projects on schedule.
Customer Service
- Serve as the primary contact for customers throughout the project.
- Provide regular communication regarding project progress.
- Address customer concerns promptly and professionally.
- Ensure customer satisfaction through project completion.
Financial Management
- Review project estimates and scopes of work.
- Monitor budgets and job profitability.
- Approve invoices and subcontractor billing.
- Identify change orders and ensure proper documentation.
- Assist in collecting project documentation required for insurance payments.
Team Leadership
- Coordinate with estimators, office staff, production crews, and subcontractors.
- Schedule subcontractors and inspections.
- Hold subcontractors accountable for workmanship and deadlines.
- Promote teamwork and maintain a positive work environment.
Documentation
- Maintain accurate project files.
- Update project management software daily.
- Document job progress with notes and photographs.
- Ensure permits, inspections, and required documentation are completed.
Safety
- Enforce OSHA safety standards and company policies.
- Conduct routine job site safety inspections.
- Ensure subcontractors comply with all safety requirements.
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of residential and commercial construction experience.
- Previous project management experience preferred.
- Strong knowledge of construction methods and building codes.
- Experience managing insurance restoration projects is a plus.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office and project management software.
- Experience with Xactimate is preferred.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.

Pay: $75,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
