Duties

- Assist in menu planning by suggesting new dishes and improvements based on customer feedback and seasonal ingredients.
- Handle food preparation tasks such as chopping, slicing, marinating, and portioning ingredients efficiently.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including proper food handling and storage procedures.
- Follow all food safety protocols, including proper sanitation practices, temperature controls, and allergen management.
- Support catering events by preparing large quantities of food with attention to detail and presentation.
- Serve dishes promptly and professionally, ensuring guest satisfaction at all times.
Skills
- Proven experience in a restaurant or food industry setting, with a strong foundation in kitchen operations.
- Excellent knife skills for precise cutting, slicing, and dicing of ingredients.
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling techniques.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining high-quality standards.
- Experience with meal preparation, cooking techniques, and menu execution.
- Familiarity with dietary department or dietary aide experience is a plus for accommodating special diets.
- Strong communication skills for effective teamwork in a fast-paced environment.
