Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and skilled Service Engineer with mechanical expertise in crusher and screening equipment to join our team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work with heavy machinery, industrial equipment, and OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) components, ensuring optimal performance and maintenance of crushing and screening systems. Duties
- Perform installation, commissioning, troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance of crushers and screening equipment using detailed schematics and OEM manuals.
- Conduct mechanical repairs on heavy machinery including fabricating parts when necessary to meet operational needs.
- Diagnose issues related to hydraulics, transmissions, suspension systems, air brakes, alignment, and electrical components using automotive diagnostics tools.
- Operate heavy equipment such as excavators, cranes, forklifts, and tractor-trailers to facilitate on-site repairs or equipment movement.
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, soldering techniques, and fabrication skills to complete repairs efficiently.
- Interpret technical schematics and manuals to identify root causes of mechanical failures and implement corrective actions promptly.
- Provide excellent customer service by communicating technical information clearly and ensuring customer satisfaction during service visits or on-site support.
Qualifications
- Proven dealership experience or extensive background working with OEM industrial equipment such as crushers, screens, farm machinery, or construction machinery.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in fabrication, welding, assembly, and equipment repair.
- Familiarity with heavy machinery operation including excavators, cranes, forklifts, and tractor-trailers.
- Proficiency in automotive diagnostics related to diesel engines, transmissions, brakes (including air brake systems), suspension systems, HVAC systems, and hydraulics.
- Ability to read schematics accurately and interpret technical manuals for troubleshooting complex mechanical issues.
- Experience with vehicle maintenance including tire service and heavy lifting techniques.
- Skilled in the use of hand tools, power tools, soldering equipment, welding gear and other maintenance tools for precise repairs.
- Strong electrical experience related to industrial equipment wiring or automotive systems is highly desirable.
- Excellent problem-solving skills combined with a customer-focused approach to service delivery.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in fast-paced environments while maintaining safety standards at all times.
