PABCO, Building Products LLC. is looking for a Subsidiary HR Coordinator at our Admin office in Rancho Cordova.
This position provides centralized administrative HR support to the locations in one or more of the following areas: recruiting, employee relations, compensation, and/or training & development. This position is responsible for providing administrative support in human resources policies, procedures, and practices in accordance with subsidiary objectives and federal and state legal requirements.
The Job:
- Demonstrates the company values and supports management and HR team to ensure behavior within the location/division is consistent with the company values.
- Gain credibility by building collaborative relationships with the locations and with counterparts at other subsidiaries.
- Responsible for providing HR administrative support.
- Compensation Administration, including updating and maintaining job descriptions and salary ranges.
- Training Administration, including entering records of employee training completed.
- HR Systems Administration, including producing regular reports, system testing, and support with timekeeping.
- May assist in coordinating special events, including Annual Benefit Meetings, training events, Christmas events, company picnics, retirement parties, Adopt-A-Family, health screenings, etc.
- May support with developing and implementing subsidiary initiatives, in areas of expertise, in support of HR and overall company strategy.
- May be requested to gather and analyze various HR-related data for process improvement and program success measurements.
- May support wellness administration, including company-wide challenges, events, and research as needed.
- Coordinates pre-hire activities, including employee physicals, offer letters, background checks, and drug screens
- Screens and interviews potential candidates and makes recommendations regarding suitability for the position.
- Coordinates new hire efforts: new hire paperwork, orientation, payroll, and timekeeping.
- Supports locations in recruiting marketing efforts, managing recruiting campaigns, and evaluating campaign effectiveness.
- Monitors temp agency relationships and contracts.
- All other tasks and/or responsibilities as assigned.
- Bilingual in Spanish Preferred
Compensation:
Wage: $26.00 - $31.00 per hour (based on experience).
Successful Candidates Will Have:
Education/Experience:
- College degree (GED); and
- Three (3) or more years related experience and/or training; or
- Equivalent combination of education and experience.
- PHR certification preferred
Communication Ability:
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or government regulations.
- Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
- Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, customers, co-workers and vendors.
