Fleet Maintenance Technician
Starting Pay: $18.00 per hour dependent on experience ($18-$20 per hour)

Are you passionate about vehicles and looking for an opportunity to turn that interest into a career? Whether you've gained experience through a previous job, automotive classes, trade school, or working on your own vehicles, Western is looking for a motivated individual to join our team as an Entry-Level Lube Technician.
This is an entry-level position that will work alongside our Warehouse team and Fleet Manager to help keep Western’s fleet running safely and efficiently. This role is a hands-on position and will be performing routine maintenance such as oil changes, fuel filter replacements, air filter replacements, and other basic service duties, while assisting in the warehouse and deliveries as needed. Trust us, you won’t get bored!
Key Responsibilities:

Perform routine preventative maintenance on company vehicles, including oil changes, fuel filters, air filters, fluid checks, and tire rotations

Conduct multi-point vehicle inspections and identify maintenance or repair needs

Replace worn or damaged parts as needed under the direction of the Fleet Manager

Regularly inspect parked fleet vehicles to ensure they remain operational and road-ready

Perform test drives to verify vehicle performance and diagnose concerns

Maintain cleanliness and organization of fleet vehicles, shop areas, and workspaces
- Assist with warehouse operations, metal shop projects, and deliveries to job sites as needed
Qualifications:

Previous mechanic, lube technician, automotive, or trade school experience preferred, but not required
- Strong mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn

Ability to use hand and power tools safely (training provided)

Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record

Reliable attendance and strong work ethic

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
