We are seeking a registered nurse to join our Health Care Quality Unit (HCQU) serving Lackawanna and surrounding counties. The HCQU is designed to ensure that individuals who have intellectual disability and/or Autism (ID/A) are as physically and behaviorally healthy as they can be.
A healthy work-life balance is emphasized, featuring a schedule from Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 4:30 PM, with no weekend or holiday commitments. Employees benefit from an early dismissal at 11:30 AM every other Friday while still receiving a full day’s pay; 13.5 paid holidays; 11.75 paid days off your first year; 17 paid days off your second year; and 23 days time off your fifty year and on. The position allows for flexibility in managing one's schedule while working from home, with some travel required. Importantly, this role does not involve direct hands-on care.
Educational/Professional Requirements:
- R.N. with an unrestricted Pennsylvania License;
- Experience with individuals who have ID/A is preferred;
- Experience in the clinical/psychological management of persons who have ID/A preferred;
- Behavioral/Mental health experience is preferred and;
- Minimum of 5 years experience.
General Description:
- Perform assessments of the physical and behavioral health of individuals who have ID/A;
- Develop and/or deliver education programs and;
- Collaborate with ID/A service providers and other physical and behavioral health care providers.
