Responsibilities:
- Walk dogs on a regular basis, ensuring their safety and well-being
- Provide exercise and mental stimulation for dogs during walks
- Follow specific instructions from pet owners regarding their dog's walking routine
- Clean up after dogs during walks and dispose of waste properly
- Monitor the behavior and health of dogs while on walks and report any concerns to the owner
- Maintain a professional and friendly demeanor when interacting with clients
Requirements:
- Must be available between 11:00 am-3:00 pm Monday-Friday when dog walking is most needed.
- Previous experience working with dogs, such as in a kennel or pet care facility, is preferred
- Ability to handle dogs of various sizes.
- Physical fitness and ability to handle heavy lifting, as some dogs may be large or pull on the leash.
- Excellent customer service skills and ability to communicate effectively with pet owners.
- Reliable transportation to travel to different locations for dog walking assignments.

We are in the “peace of mind” business. We provide peace of mind to the pet parents that are working. We visit our clients’ homes to care for their pets and also their homes, taking dogs for walks around the neighborhood or trails or letting them out to play in the backyard and a lot of TLC & belly rubs. We ask that you drive to these appointments and use our mobile app to provide photos, videos, and updates to the clients to let them know how the pets are doing.
We are looking for part time staff who have trustworthy & hands on experience caring for pets, who are willing to travel within our service area, commit to a minimum of 12 months employment, pass a background check, complete training, & are available to work during shifts based on our client’s needs and your schedule. Of course, you must be willing to treat furry clients like they are like your own. - You must be able to follow client instructions and communicate with them to give them peace of mind
-We do not offer vehicle insurance, so you need to carry your own insurance as well as have your own reliable vehicle and valid driver’s license.
-Available year-round, this is not seasonal. Please only apply if you can commit to working all twelve months.
-You will need to be able to walk dogs in all kinds of weather conditions (within reason): rain, heat, & cold. We do have restrictions and safety measures for extreme weather for both the safety of you and the pets.
-An absolute must: you MUST adore animals! We provide continuing education opportunities on pet care training & Pet First aid, so you are prepared to care for the pets to the best of your abilities and knowledge.
-You must be able to pass a background check.
