Job Summary
BW James is seeking a detail-oriented and creative Part-Time E-Commerce & Merchandising Specialist to support our online and in-store retail operations. This role focuses on maintaining our online storefront, assisting with visual merchandising, supporting order fulfillment, and helping create a consistent, visually appealing shopping experience across both digital and physical locations.
The ideal candidate enjoys organization, has an eye for product presentation, is comfortable learning new technology, and takes pride in producing high-quality work. This position offers hands-on experience in e-commerce, merchandising, inventory management, photography, and retail operations.
Primary Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional customer service for online customers by responding to inquiries, processing orders, coordinating shipments, and helping ensure timely delivery.
- Assist with maintaining website inventory, including product descriptions, pricing, images, and online product information.
- Gather, photograph, edit, and upload merchandise images to maintain a visually appealing and accurate online storefront.
- Assist with product photography and website merchandising for new product launches and seasonal collections.
- Process incoming merchandise by checking inventory, preparing products for display, and ensuring accurate inventory records.
- Ensure memo merchandise is properly checked in, documented, audited, and returned to vendors as directed.
- Place merchandise on the sales floor according to established merchandising standards.
- Assist with maintaining visually appealing showcases, product displays, and seasonal merchandising throughout the store.
- Support marketing initiatives by assisting with social media content, promotions, and product launches.
- Help organize customer warranty documentation and other merchandise records.
- Run occasional local business errands, including mailing packages or picking up supplies.
- Scan Invoices for payment, record information, assist AP department as needed
- Participate enthusiastically in team meetings, company events, and store initiatives.
- Help Sales Team as needed
Monthly & Seasonal Responsibilities
- Assist with setting up seasonal and holiday displays throughout the store.
- Help maintain merchandise spreadsheets and inventory records.
- Participate in annual physical inventory counts and ongoing inventory audits.
- Monitor boxes, bags, packaging and shipping supply levels and notify management when replenishment is needed.
- Stay informed on current jewelry and retail merchandising trends.
- Assist with implementing promotional displays and in-store merchandising updates.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Retail, e-commerce, merchandising, photography, or customer service experience is preferred but not required.
- Comfortable learning new software and online retail platforms.
- Strong computer skills and attention to detail.
- Basic photography or photo editing experience is a plus.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to work independently while contributing positively to a team environment.

Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.

Schedule
- Part-Time
- Approximately 20–24 hours per week (3 days)
- Saturdays are required
- Our Store is Closed On Sunday And Monday
