*Essential Function
What You'll Actually Do (Yes, the Real Work):
- Meet, greet, and assist members daily, you’re the face of the fitness floor.
- Conduct orientation sessions and fitness consultations.
- Develop personalized fitness programs based on each client’s lifestyle and goals.
- Teach safe and effective exercise techniques, form, and progression strategies.
- Deliver consistent motivation, accountability, and support throughout a client’s journey.
- Provide basic nutritional guidance that supports their physical goals.
- Teach group fitness classes and spot weightlifters with safety and encouragement.
- Recommend equipment or products to help clients progress.
- Keep our facility looking sharp, light maintenance, cleaning equipment, organizing spaces.
- Use fitness software and complete reports or updates as needed.
- Support member retention efforts by fostering real relationships and results.
- Comfortable being in camara for social media postings.
*Qualifications:
Certifications (Required):
- Personal Training Certification
- CPR / AED Certification
- First Aid Certification
- Group Fitness Certification (preferred but not required)
Education/Experience:
Bachelor’s degree OR 2–4 years of related experience OR an equivalent combo of both.
Technical Skills:
Proficient with Google software and Microsoft Office and fitness-specific software.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to lift/move up to 100 lbs. Comfortable standing, walking, kneeling, climbing, and spotting during workouts.
