Launch your career in financial planning with one of New England's fastest-growing independent wealth management firms.
Moneco Advisors is a modern, full-service financial planning firm dedicated to helping clients live their best financial lives. We combine a collaborative culture with sophisticated planning tools — and our internship program is designed to give students a real, hands-on view of what that looks like in practice.
The Wealth Management Internship offers structured, meaningful exposure to investment research, client service, and financial planning. Interns work alongside experienced professionals on real projects — not busywork — and complete the program with a comprehensive financial planning case study from start to finish.
You'll contribute directly to the firm's client service, investment research, and planning activities. Your work will span four key areas:
Asset Management & Research
- Use Morningstar to complete quarterly investment reports and monitor current holdings.
- Assist in portfolio research to support advisor decisions and Investment Committee reviews.
Financial Communication & Marketing Support
- Create social media and digital content to support the firm's brand and thought leadership.
- Analyze digital metrics to provide data-driven insights for advisor use.
Financial Planning & Case Study
- Apply tools including eMoney, Orion, and Riskalyze to support planning and asset allocation.
- Complete a financial planning case study from discovery meeting through plan presentation.
Operations & CRM
- Use the firm's CRM system to support client service processes and maintain records.
- Assist in maintaining securities databases and workflow management.
- At least two years of college coursework completed with a GPA of 3.4+ (exceptions considered).
- Strong written and verbal communication skills (writing samples required).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Genuine interest in wealth management, client service, and financial planning.
- Collaborative team player who can also manage independent projects.
- Experience with Morningstar, Bloomberg, or CRM systems a plus.
This internship is offered for academic credit and includes structured learning across financial products and planning strategies — mutual funds, ETFs, annuities, insurance, estate planning, and taxation. Interns also participate in educational sessions and, in some cases, may be eligible for part-time paid roles following the program. While future employment is not guaranteed, this is a genuine launching pad for a career in wealth management.
