Location: Sharon, MA
Night Shift or Day Shift available
Job Type: Full-Time, Day Shift: Monday through Friday 6 am to 2:30 pm
or Night Shift :Monday - Thursday 2:30 pm to 1 am
InMetal is a precision sheet metal fabricator. We are looking for a reliable and hardworking General
Production Worker for our shop. This position involves assisting in various stages of production, ensuring smooth operations and maintaining a clean and safe work environment.
Job Responsibilities
Production Support:
- Assist in the setup, maintenance, and operation of machinery used in the sheet metal fabrication process.
- Load and unload materials and products as needed.
- Assist with shake out, deburring, graining, hardware insertion, and assembling sheet metal components.
- Help in the assembly of finished products by following safety and quality guidelines.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace to ensure safety standards are met.
Material Handling:
- Move and transport materials to different workstations and areas as directed.
- Perform inventory checks and assist with stock management.
- Ensure proper handling and storage of sheet metal and other materials.
Safety and Maintenance:
- Follow all safety protocols to maintain a safe working environment.
- Report any machinery issues, safety hazards, or maintenance needs.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and health & safety regulations.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in a manufacturing/ labor-intensive role is required
- Ability to lift heavy materials up to 50lbs and stand for extended periods
- Basic knowledge of hand tools and machinery is preferred
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
- Ability to work well in a team environment and communicate effectively
- Strong work ethic and reliability
