Position: Principal Systems Architect
Experience: 10-15+ years
Primary Responsibilities:
- Serve as the technical authority for the HEAT3 architecture
- Lead integration across CSSE, GRID, SCE, PIAB‑S, and ART components
- Define interface specifications and maintain the technical baseline
- Coordinate with government stakeholders during all integration events and IPRs
- Guide distributed simulation design, time management interfaces, and orchestration workflows
- Mentor engineering teams and ensure technical compliance with customer requirements
- Support V&V, regression testing, and transition planning
Security Requirements
- Active Top Secret clearance required
- SCI/SAP eligibility strongly preferred
- U.S. Citizenship required
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Physics, or similar
- 10+ years systems engineering or distributed system architecture
- Experience with one or more digital range or simulation frameworks (AFSIM, JSE, GRID, CSSE)
- Experience owning system architecture for large distributed systems
- Strong experience writing and interpreting ICDs
- Git-based workflow experience
- Ability to work on‑site in a secure environment
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with orbital mechanics, space domain modeling, or sensor simulation
- Experience supporting OT&E or Tactics Development missions
- Prior work with government test ranges (JITTC‑N, Delta 12/17, Delta 9)
Salary: $145,000-$200,000
