Position Summary
We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Production & Packaging Lead to support the Packaging Manager with daily cannabis edibles production and packaging operations. This role assists with workflow coordination, packaging, labeling, quality control, equipment operation, inventory counts, and preparation of finished goods for distribution.
Responsibilities
- Support daily production and packaging workflow.
- Prepare workstations, organize materials, and maintain a clean production area.
- Assist with demolding, fluffing, sealing, labeling, packaging, and quality control checks.
- Help train team members on production and packaging procedures.
- Confirm packaging specifications, COA labels, bag counts, display boxes, and master case needs.
- Check Cure Room status and organize products by production date.
- Obtain potency test samples as needed.
- Verify compliance labels, UIDs, product information, and required labeling.
- Label totes by production status, such as needs weight check, needs seal, needs QC, or finished.
- Confirm product weights and report discrepancies.
- Assist with inventory tracking, material reconciliation, palletizing, and distribution preparation.
- Operate and clean equipment, including baggers, scales, heat sealers, and pallet jacks.
- Report quality, equipment, safety, compliance, or workflow concerns to management.
Qualifications
- Must be 21 years of age or older.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States.
- Ability to work in a licensed and regulated cannabis manufacturing facility.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow written procedures.
- Basic math skills for counting, weighing, and verifying product quantities.
- Ability to stand for extended periods, perform repetitive tasks, and lift up to 50 pounds as needed.
- Strong communication, teamwork, reliability, and punctuality.
- Packaging or warehouse experience is a plus.
- Understanding of cannabis manufacturing is a plus.
- Experience with GMP, HACCP, sanitation, food safety, QC, inventory, or production equipment is a plus.
Compliance Requirements
- Employees must follow all company SOPs, sanitation procedures, safety rules, inventory controls, and cannabis compliance requirements.
- Employees must handle cannabis-infused products responsibly and in accordance with company and regulatory requirements.
- Employment may be subject to completion of any required City of Santa Ana cannabis employee badge, registration, or onboarding requirements.

Schedule & Pay
- Full-time, Monday through Friday.
- Start time will be assigned by management 7:00 AM or 9:00 AM.
- Overtime and weekend shifts may be offered but are not required.
- Pay: $17.00–$18.00 per hour.

Work Environment
This role is performed in a cannabis edible production and packaging facility. Food-grade sanitation and safety procedures must be followed. PPE may be required, including gloves, hairnets, beard nets, aprons, and safety glasses.
