Activity Person - Crosbyton, Texas

As an Activity Person, you will play a vital role in enhancing the lives of our residents by creating engaging and entertaining activities that promote socialization, wellness, and overall fulfillment.
Responsibilities:
Develop and implement diverse activity programs catering to the diverse needs and interests of our residents, including art, music, exercise, and social events
Collaborate with other department heads to ensure seamless integration of activities into our daily care routine
Conduct activities and events in a way that respects and promotes the autonomy, dignity, and independence of our residents
Participate in resident assessments to better understand their needs and preferences, tailoring activities to meet their unique needs
Maintain accurate records of activities, resident participation, and outcomes
Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and regulatory requirements to ensure compliance and continuous improvement
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent required;
programming or a related field
Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and adapting to changing situations
