Job Summary
We are a hotpot restaurant located in Franklin TN. Looking for a part time MAINLY foodrunner & at times busser.
Duties
- Deliver freshly prepared food from the kitchen to tables swiftly and accurately, ensuring presentation standards are maintained.
- Clear used dishes, glassware, and utensils from tables promptly to keep dining areas clean and organized.
- Assist servers by bussing tables, resetting them efficiently for new guests, and providing support during busy service periods.
- Maintain cleanliness in dining areas, including wiping down surfaces, sweeping floors, and ensuring restrooms are tidy.
- Support food handling procedures by adhering to food safety standards and proper sanitation practices.
- Communicate effectively with kitchen staff using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS to relay guest orders or special requests.
- Help with basic food preparation tasks when needed, including setting up stations or assisting in the kitchen during peak hours.
- Provide excellent guest services by greeting guests warmly, answering questions about menu items, and ensuring their needs are met with enthusiasm.
Experience
- Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred but not required; we value enthusiasm and a willingness to learn!
- Familiarity with food handling safety protocols ensures a safe dining environment for all guests.
- Experience with serving or bussing in banquet or hotel settings is a plus, demonstrating adaptability across different hospitality contexts.
- Knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS enhances efficiency in order processing and communication.
- Strong communication skills are essential for collaborating effectively with team members and providing exceptional guest experiences.
- Prior kitchen or culinary experience can be beneficial for supporting food prep tasks and understanding food safety standards.
