Surgical Dental Assistant (EFDA) – Implants & Full-Mouth Cases
A leading cosmetic and implant dentistry center in Miami is seeking a full-time Expanded Functions Dental Assistant (EFDA) to join its growing clinical team. This opportunity is ideal for an experienced dental assistant who thrives in a fast-paced, high-performance environment and is passionate about implant dentistry, cosmetic procedures, and delivering exceptional patient care.
The practice is known for advanced procedures including full-mouth rehabilitations, porcelain veneers, and implant dentistry, supported by modern digital workflows and state-of-the-art technology. This role offers strong growth potential for high-performing individuals.
- Assist dentists during implant surgeries, full-mouth rehabilitations, veneer preparations, and prosthodontic procedures
- Prepare operatories, maintain sterile environments, and manage surgical setups
- Take digital impressions, fabricate provisionals, and support digital dentistry workflows
- Manage clinical supplies, instruments, and implant/prosthetic inventory
- Deliver a high-end, concierge-level patient experience throughout treatment
- Collaborate with clinical team members to ensure cases are organized and completed efficiently
- Support training initiatives and contribute to workflow improvements
- Active Expanded Functions Dental Assistant (EFDA) license (required)
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in implant dentistry, cosmetic dentistry, or prosthodontics
- Strong understanding of implant workflows, surgical assisting, and restorative procedures
- Experience with veneers, crown and bridge, digital impressions, and full-mouth cases
- Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage a high-volume clinical schedule
- Strong communication skills and professional chairside manner
- Team-oriented mindset with a proactive and accountable approach
Compensation & Benefits
- $40,000 – $60,000 annual base salary (depending on experience)
