Title: PCF Set-Up Operator
Job Summary:
The PCF Setup Operator has the ability to set-up and operate precision cold forming machines.

Ability to work independently in a job shop environment to set-up and operate a number of machines simultaneously.

Maintain compliance to ISO 9001 and ISO 13485 certifications.

Self-Inspection for Quality of all parts manufactured.

Seeks out creative ways to continuously improve the products and processes.

Be able to problem solve various situations using critical thinking methodology in an investigative manner to pinpoint, identify and correct potential issues that lead to non-conformances and production losses.
Required Skills/Abilities:

The aptitude to set-up and run production, making machine adjustments, and tool settings.

Ability to use a micrometer, caliper and other measuring devices, magnification equipment and recognize key dimensions.

Ability to measure high quality parts to print and follow detailed work instructions per our ISO quality systems required.

Must be proficient in interpreting engineering drawings.

Experience with multi-die (progressive) cold heading machines is highly desirable.

Trains co-workers as required.
Education and Experience:
-
High School Diploma or equivalent (Preferred)

2-3 years of experience setting up and operating cold heading machines.
Physical Requirements:

Must be able to lift 50 pounds at times.

Must be able to access and navigate each department at the organization’s facilities.
