We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Morning Bartender/ Night Bartender/Prep to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing and serving beverages, ensuring a smooth and welcoming experience for our guests during morning and dinner hours. Your enthusiasm and commitment to excellent customer service will help set the tone for a lively and memorable day.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including cocktails, coffee, and non-alcoholic drinks, with precision and flair.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, ensuring all tools and ingredients are properly stocked and stored.
- Greet guests warmly, take orders accurately, and provide exceptional customer service to enhance their experience.
- Ensure compliance with food safety standards and proper food handling procedures at all times.
- Manage POS transactions using systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS efficiently and accurately.
- Assist with food prep tasks, including garnishing drinks and preparing bar snacks or light menu items as needed.
- Monitor inventory levels, place supply orders when necessary, and track sales to optimize efficiency.
Requirements
- Proven experience in bartending, preferably in a busy restaurant, or banquet setting.
- TIPs trained (if not TIPs trained we will pay for the course)
- Familiarity with POS systems
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during busy morning shifts.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests positively and professionally.
- Knowledge of food safety regulations, proper food handling, and sanitation practices.
- Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math calculations, and sales tracking.
- Previous experience in food service or hospitality roles within the food industry is preferred but not at all required.
- Ability to work morning hours consistently while maintaining high energy levels throughout your shift.
