Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive auto body repairs including dent removal, panel replacement, and sheet metal work using hand tools and power tools.
- Conduct auto painting utilizing airless paint spraying techniques to achieve high-quality finishes.
- Execute welding tasks such as MIG welding and soldering to restore structural integrity of vehicle frames and panels.
- Handle auto glass replacement and repair with attention to detail for safety and aesthetics.
- Utilize auto estimating software to assess damages accurately and prepare repair plans.
- Assist with auto restoration projects by fabricating custom parts and performing assembly tasks.
- Maintain a clean, organized workspace while adhering to safety protocols during heavy lifting, use of power tools, and equipment operation.
Requirements
- Proven dealership experience or background in auto body repair is highly preferred.
- Skilled in MIG welding, soldering, sheet metal work, and fabrication techniques.
- Strong mechanical knowledge of automotive systems, vehicle maintenance, and repair processes.
- Proficient with hand tools, power tools, auto painting equipment, and auto glass installation tools.
- Experience with auto estimating software and customer service interactions is a plus.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of auto restoration projects, auto painting (including airless paint spraying), and automotive repair practices.
